Social Services Programs

In a nutshell, Social Services programs train students to work in the social services sector, where they will be tasked with using their knowledge of the social sciences, particularly psychology and sociology, to provide services which aim to improve the condition of society. Examples of this include the Psychology program, which enables students to study human behavior in order to help others handle behavioral problems and gain a better understanding of themselves; the Public Administration program which molds students into future government policy makers or effective political leaders , and the Social Work program which prepares students to become professionals who focus on improving the quality of life of others, particularly those who are victims of poverty, injustice and human rights violations.
