Psychology is defined as the scientific study of behavior, which is what the Psychology program focuses on, breaking it down into interesting courses such as behavioral research, child development, adolescent development, adult development, personality, human sexuality, learning and memory, marriage and family, psychotherapy and psychometrics. Students enrolled in the program will also learn the basics of the various fields of psychology, such as clinical psychology, which deals with the diagnosis of mental disorders, forensic psychology, which deals with psychology and the law, school psychology which focuses on the relationship of human behavior and learning, and sports psychology, which studies the effects of psychological factors on human performance and vice versa, which prepares them for a wide variety of careers.
