Paralegal And Legal Support

In general, paralegals are persons who assist lawyers, government departments, community agencies and corporations in legal matters, although their exact roles vary from one setting to another, and even from one country or state to another. Like lawyers, paralegals can specialize in one aspect of the law, including criminal law, administrative law, corporate law, family law, immigration law and intellectual property law, although the basics of each are taught in the Paralegal/Legal Support program. In addition to studying the law, you will also learn how to draft legal documents, how to work with software commonly found in law offices and how to conduct legal research.
