Nursing

The Nursing program provides you with extensive information and training in order to work as a nurse, a healthcare professional tasked with taking care of patients by simply nurturing them, helping administer their treatment, teaching them more about health or providing them with emotional support. In order to enable you to fulfill all these duties, the program teaches medical subjects such as physiology in newborns, children and adults, pharmacology, pathology, psychology but focuses more on nursing techniques, both in normal cases and in emergency or high risk cases. Towards the end of the program, you may choose a specialty, such as pediatric nursing, emergency nursing, surgical nursing, neonatal nursing or nurse anesthesia, which will determine the type of subjects you will be trained on.
