The Networking/Security program is for those who want to become network administrators, or professionals in charge of managing information networks, whether in residential or commercial settings. In this program, you will start off with the basics of computer science, programming and database administration, as well as understanding the different types of information systems, then proceed to the core of the program which is learning all about the concepts and techniques of networking, including working with local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs), managing network operating systems, wireless technology, routing and switching and network security systems. You will also be taught how to troubleshoot computer hardware and how to install home automation systems.
