Medical Technologist

A medical technologist, also known as a biomedical scientist or a clinical lab specialist, is a healthcare professional who works with biological samples, namely blood samples, urine samples, stool samples in order to aid in the diagnosis of various medical diseases. If you want to be one, the Medical Technologist program will teach you about the basics of biology with a focus on microbiology, hematology, parasitology, mycology, biochemistry and biotechnology. You will also learn how to operate various clinical equipment, both traditional and modern, and how to extract, handle and analyze specific samples without compromising data or personal safety.
