A company’s workforce is its most valuable resource, which is why every company has a specific department that makes sure it has enough people by recruiting new people to fill in vacant posts and making sure existing employees remain in theirs. The Human Resources program, also sometimes listed as Human Resources Management, is designed especially for people who want to enter this department, teaching them how to effectively manage human resources by educating them on subjects such as recruitment and retention strategies, compensation laws and employee benefits, human resource ethics and labor relations. As a Human Resources student, you will also study courses from related Business programs, such as Business Communications, Accounting and Management.
