Criminal Investigation

Criminal Investigation programs take you step by step in investigating crime, from searching, recording and gathering evidence at the crime scene, to interviewing witnesses and analyzing the evidence using various theories and modern equipment, finding sources of information and then identifying, interrogating and arresting suspects and finally, preparing a case against them. You will also learn the basics of investigative photography, surveillance, how to conduct raids, how to go on undercover assignments and how to work with warrants and subpoenas. You will also be taught how to investigate specific crimes, as well, such as narcotics crimes, crimes against persons and crimes against property.
