Construction Trades

In order to become a construction worker, you need to enroll in the Construction Trades program, which basically covers the skills required by the different trades in construction, including carpentry, bricklaying, flooring, iron working, masonry, plumbing, pipe fitting, insulation, roofing, stone masonry, house painting, carpet laying and fencing, starting at the basic level and then moving on to the intermediate and advanced levels. You will also learn about the basics of building construction such as the laws related to construction, the tools and materials commonly used in construction, as well as safety measures and first aid in the construction workplace.
