Information Technology

Computer Science And Programming

Computer Science/Programming can be offered as a single program with two majors or as two separate programs. Computer Science deals with the scientific aspect of Information Technology, such as its underlying principles, structures and various theories, in particular teaching you about how computers work, computation logic, data structures, algorithm designs and coding solutions. On the other hand, Programming deals with the practical application of these theories and mathematical computations, teaching you the most common programming languages such as Java, C++, C#, PHP and SQL so that you can design your own programs. Aside from the core courses, you will also take up introductory courses to data management, networking, operating systems, systems management and even digital graphics and interactive media.
