Biology, which is defined as the study of life and living organisms, is comprised of dozens of fields, which is why it can lead to a wide variety of practical applications and job opportunities. In the Biology program, you will be going through most of these fields, including anatomy and physiology, which focus on the parts and functions of living organisms; biochemistry, which is the study of chemical reactions among living cells; cell biology which focuses on life processes at a cellular level; botany, which is the study of plants; ecology, which takes a look at the interactions of living organisms in the environment and zoology, which deals with the classification, physiology and behavior of animals.
