Not everyone has the skills to be an athlete. However, everyone can enroll in the Athletic Training program so long as they meet the university admission requirements, which is a program for the medical supervision of the training of athletes and the diagnosis and treatment of various athletic injuries. In this program, you will learn the basics of athletic training, particularly the safety protocols that need to be followed and the proper conditioning procedures in order to prevent injuries. You will also be given training on what to do in the case of an athletic injury, such as first aid measures and biohazard precautions. Afterwards, you will go into each athletic injury in detail in order to know how to diagnose and aid in the treatment and rehabilitation of each.
